Hi! Hey! hello, this is the start of something that might become a decent chunk of my life… or not, considering who I am as a person this could really go one of two ways:

1. I actually end up REALLY enjoying talking about my hobbies on here and decide to carry on. But then slowly lose the motivation to do so; in that case this  will probably be my only post and for that i’m gonna have to say ‘see you around!’
2. pretty much the same as example 1 above except i somehow manage to pluck what little motivation i have as a human with a severe desire to avert his attention to whatever’s moving on my immediate right.

Either way my plan for this; whatever this is, is to document how i feel about my hobbies and create a critical opinion of certain things like albums and live music and to kinda sprinkle the odd bit of photography in here and there (you can see some below)

I should probably start talking about myself too huh? well there’s quite a bit but i’ll do my best to keep it quick and spare you the self righteous ramblings that any artist would pass for a self description. basically I’ve grown up listening to music for as long as i can remember, in fact my earliest possible memory is playing an air guitar to Thin Lizzy at roughly the age of 4 on a rotating chair and getting scolded for it. Since then I gained an interest in guitar at the age of about 12 after discovering bands like Metallica and seeing videos of Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix live, I got given a guitar at around the same time and  as I’ve previously mentioned I REALLY struggle to keep focus on most things so naturally the guitar gathered dust for years and years until I was about 15 and i discovered the power chord, now this was a magical moment in itself, but as soon as i took this skill and applied it to my music class my classmates thought i was a GOD; now after i gained this admiration, as any human would I pushed myself so hard to get better so i could gain more of this and boost my popularity.

guitar doesn’t make you popular

Basically i turned into an introvert towards the end of my secondary school career ripping my fingers to shreds learning as much guitar as possible, and learning as much as i could about the music industry, i ended up getting an A in both my music and music tech GCSEs and pretty piss poor average grades everywhere else, but you know, nobodies perfect… except maybe Dave Grohl

 

there will more than likely be more at some point but yeah…
